Hi, I'm Nora.
Artist. Designer. Metalsmith.
After spending 25 years designing interiors and furniture for large corporations, I turned to
metalsmithing and studying jewelry design under many master metalsmiths.
In turning from interiors to adorning the body, I have found my passion at the jeweler’s bench.
Many of my designs play with positive and negative spaces, and are inspired by my architectural background. Most of my pieces incorporate simple and pure geometric forms, creating minimal yet beautiful accents for everyday wear.
My practice includes traditional fabrication, lost wax casting, and techniques for anticlastic forming. Much of the gold you see in my collections is applied using the ancient Korean method of Keum Boo.
Using ethically sourced materials is also a priority. All of my designs are made from reclaimed and recycled sterling silver.
Questions about the work? I'd love to hear from you!
